Bully Dog signed on with the Modified Lite STARS and will be providing a $1000 CERTIFICATE to the winner of the West Virginia Modified Lite Invitational at Beckley Motorsports Parks scheduled for August 26th and the winner of the Modified Lite International Championship at Merrittesville Speedway on September 9th & 10th.

No one can question the exceptional growth of the Bilstein Modified Lite STARS Championship Series entering its sixth year of operations, the non-profit organization gives Modified Lites in the United States and Canada the opportunity to compete for enhanced purse and an annual point fund. The Modified Lite STARS International Championship series represents an aggressively growing segment of motor sports' racing and is recognized as the leader in Modified Lite racing. This past season saw more than 225 different drivers competing for regional and national points. Hosting and sponsoring more than 33 events at 14 different raceways paying out more than $150,000 in cash and awards.

The Pittsburgh Circle Track Club hosted its annual banquet Saturday night. For more than three decades, the club has been the leading organization for racing fans and racers in the greater Pittsburgh area. In addition to presenting its own prestigious awards to racers in numerous classes of competition, the PCTC played host to the Bilstein Modified Lite STARS. That group recognized its top national and regional drivers, showing that big things are happening for the small car set.

With the 2012 racing season about three months away, the Bilstein Modified Lite STARS Series continues to work diligently toward the release of the exciting new season's schedule of events and promotions.
We're really excited about BRP being a part of the Modified Lite STARS Program. Pete Bicknell and I had a long conversation concerning the future of the STARS program and the direction we are heading. With most of the modified lite manufactures going through BRP for their C andC work, drivers and car owner are encourage to contact BRP or check their website for modified lite parts. One of the biggest complaints we receive from our drivers is that they struggle getting modified lite parts from the chassis manufactures, Bauer briefed Becknell. Now with BRP stocking inventory of the modified lite parts provides our drivers with an additional options.
